J.  I.  M.   is     Jesus   In   Me  !

There are questions that every person asks themselves at some point in their life. Three of those questions are:  Is there a God?    If so, does He care about me?   Who is Jesus? These questions represent the human struggle to find ones place, purpose and meaning in this world. In seeking to answer these questions some people believe that they themselves are God and do not need to look to anyone for direction and salvation. Others admit the existence of a higher being but propose that many paths can lead to Him.

God offers the only answer in His Word, the Holy Bible, and through His Son, Jesus Christ. The Bible testifies to God's reaching out to man from the beginning of time and points to Jesus Christ as the only way to bring man and God together. God has always desired a relationship with man, but they have been separated by a wall called sin. Sin may take many forms but is essentially an attitude or action of disobedience against God and His Word. When Jesus, the Son of God, came to earth and, died on the cross, although innocent of sin, He demolished the dividing wall (the power of sin) and enabled free access to God for everyone (Hebrews 4:14-16).

Jesus Does Care For You!

  1. God's Position
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16 KJV). God loves man and wants to have fellowship with him.
  2. Man's Condition
Man is a sinner and is unable to measure up to God's standard on his own "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" (Romans 3:23 KJV). He cannot save himself "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:" (Ephesians 2:8 KJV). Man's salvation must come from a source outside himself.
  3. God's Provision
"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:" (1 Peter 3:18 KJV). Jesus Christ, being God, paid the penalty for man's sin. God sent Christ to pay for man's sin by being man's substitute. What man could not do for himself, Jesus did.
  4. Man's Decision
"But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:" (John 1:12 KJV). Man must believe in Jesus Christ and Him alone for salvation. Then, the relationship between man and God is made whole.

Thus, the decision lies with you. Yes, God exists; and yes, He does care about you. Are you ready to believe in and commit to Him? The Bible tells us "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9 KJV). God is reaching out to you. Take a step toward Him by letting us lead you in prayer. God has done His part, the next step is yours!
